Things have moved on in the final stages of our main floor renovation! Our new master bathroom was “done” (just added shelves and towel racks, etc.)
So the kitchen is about to be dropped from the list (I’ll be sharing the DIY with you shortly!). It was amazing to think about where the house was when we started (you can preview the photos in A peek at Laura’s new house and some after the pictures here) and where are we now 18 months later.
I’m constantly grateful for what we’ve been able to do and I love the results so far. Here are other things that I love this week!

2. If anyone else watched Netflix Formula 1 seriesyou will understand why I want one of these to wear while we watch the races at home. I did NOT into the race until we heard how good the movie was and all the hype was true — it’s fun to watch now.
3. I lost the little gratitude journal I was using during my recent renovation, but I found this at Target and that’s great. It has a beginning of the day and an end of the day, so you can set your intentions for the day and then look back at what happened.
I like that there is a section to write down the things you did for others that day, as well as the things you did for yourself.
As a working mom, it’s a daily reminder that’s not only okay, but necessary, to make sure that each day has the right things for you. And, it has its own pen and pen holder which is great because I can never find a pen when I want it, haha.
4. I bought items from This bathroom set for the new bathroom… they are so beautiful!
5. Filling Lola’s Easter basket is fun for me. I have her a lot of things from hereand I think she will be most excited about this nail polish set (water-based), this Family Calico Critterand this jumbo dino color poster.

6. The print above my banquette is one of my favorites (it’s sold out right now) but I also like this by the same artist.
7. I will absolutely wear this is an easter dress.
8. I love a cute kiddo pj set, and I got Lola this and this for spring/summer. I usually buy the pjs a bit big so we can use them for two seasons.
9. I finally have my daily favorite bra in black and it’s still my default bra after 5-6 years of being a loyal customer of that style.
Having a big cup size with a small bust (and now after breastfeeding) is a bra recipe for disaster when you want support (but not a granny bra) and it really is. It’s the only bra I’ve found that works for me. Feels good in my clothes. HIGH RECOMMENDED.
10. I’m taking this cute swimsuit going on vacation next month to the beach, but I also keep an eye on on this chrysanthemum.
We are ready to go to the beach in April (waited three years to take this trip as it keeps getting canceled and delayed many times) with my family and I can’t wait to have all of you little cousins together and feel the joy it always brings to me.
