2 students out of 4 injured at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, Haryana
Rohtak:
Four people, including two students, were injured after being allegedly shot at Maharshi Dayanand University in Haryana’s Rohtak on Saturday with police investigating whether a currency dispute led to the incident. job or not, officials said.
The incident took place shortly after Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, who is also the Rector of the university, left the school after participating in a ceremony on campus.
Three people are believed to be involved in the crime. Police said the attackers fled after the incident.
“Four people were injured. We are investigating who opened fire. Preliminary investigations indicate that there was some monetary dispute behind the crime,” SHO Pramod Gautam said.
The injured were hospitalized, SHO said, adding one person was seriously injured.
