For some, the day after Thanksgiving means shopping for all the best Black Friday deals. Although I love entering into a good deal – who wouldn’t? – for me, the fourth friday in november is always the start day Christmas season. You can catch me giving interior design morning and early (according to a slice of pecan pie for breakfast, of course). I’ve been busy swapping out my home’s fall color palette for something a little more holiday-appropriate. We are talking all of silver, red, gold and blue. Depending on the year, I can earn a day from cutting trees. Or, if things are feeling a bit hectic, I pull out the quick and easy artificial fir that I keep just in case.
