Mercedes-Benz ended well 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE SUVthe first all-electric Mercedes-AMG SUV.
All-new Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV launched with three non-AMG variantsin addition to the two fire-breathing AMG models detailed here.
The Mercedes-AMG lineup will include AMG EQE 43 4MATIC SUVs and EQE 53 4MATIC + SUV car.
Both AMG and non-AMG models will have 10 slots 90.6kWh battery pack on one 400V system, with a driving range of 431-488 km for the AMG EQE 43 and 375-470 km for the AMG EQE 53.
AMG models stand out across the regular EQE SUV range, with an upgraded two-engine AWD system.
The Mercedes-AMG 43 4MATIC SUV has a peak 350kW power and 858Nm of torque through two electric motors (one per shaft).
The pinnacle of the range is AMG 53 4MATIC + SUV, appeared 460kW power and 950Nm of torque.
Choosing the AMG Dynamic Plus package increases that output 505kW power and 1000Nm torque during the start of the race, which is actually a 10% overshoot feature.
Using an AMG-specific electric motor capable of spinning up to 18,000 rpm, a top speed of 240 km/h can be achieved with the 53’s AMG Dynamic Plus package. Without the package, you can go up to 210km /h in 43 and 220km/h in 53.
In terms of performance specs, the 43 will go from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, while the 53 is capable of 3.5 seconds with the AMG Dynamic Plus package.
The 4MATIC+ system is also capable of sending up to 66% of torque to the rear axle, which Mercedes-AMG says can happen significantly faster than a mechanical system.
Charging is possible up to 22kW on an optional three-phase AC charger or up to 170kW using an ultra-fast DC charger.
Mercedes-Benz says the cobalt content is 10% lower, with the rest being optimized active materials including nickel and manganese.
Bidirectional charging will be possible in Japan, and all models come standard with a heat pump.
In terms of dimensions, the AMG EQE SUV is slightly longer than the regular EQE SUV, with a length of 4879mm (compared to 4863mm of the non-AMG EQE SUV), a width of 1931mm and a height of 1672mm. The wheelbase is in line with a non-AMG EQE SUV, at around 3030mm.
Depending on configuration, cargo capacity is 520 liters and is expandable up to 1675 liters.
AMG models come standard with adaptive air suspension, along with electronic active roll stabilization on the front and rear axles. The standard braking system for AMG models is a 415mm rotor with six-piston calipers at the front and a 378mm rotor with a single-piston caliper at the rear.
Carbon ceramic brakes can be optionally available on 440mm AMG models with six-piston calipers on the front axle.
The rear-wheel steering allows for up to 9 degrees of rotation (10 degrees on non-AMG models due to the narrower tire width) to increase dynamic handling and also reduce revs from 12.3m to 10.9m.

The grille on the AMG EQE SUV has vertical slats that mimic the grille on the internal combustion AMG models.
While it doesn’t quite match the record-breaking drag coefficient seen on the EQS sedan, the EQE SUV offers a sleek .25 CoD, making it one of the most aerodynamically efficient cars on the market. .
There is no front boot, with the bonnet only being opened at the service department for maintenance such as replacing the internal air filter.
Buyers can opt for the EQE SUV with the impressive Mercedes-Benz Hyperscreen, with functions exclusive to AMG.
It has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.7-inch central touchscreen and a 12.3-inch passenger-side touchscreen, all of which are found under the same glass as the girth. Metallic and ambient lighting underneath for a floating look.
Models without Hyperscreen have a slightly different center console and dash design reminiscent of the newer S-Class.
Standard safety equipment on all EQE SUVs includes adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, traffic sign recognition, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and shift assist. lane, avoidance steering assist and automatic emergency braking with forward cross-traffic assist.
