Adani Green Inks deals with Solar Corporation to provide renewable energy
Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has signed an agreement with the State Solar Corporation of India (SECI) to provide 4,667 MW of green energy.
This is the world’s largest green power purchase agreement (PPA) ever, according to a company statement.

The AGEL-SECI agreement provides 4,667 MW as part of an 8,000 MW production-linked solar power package awarded by SECI to AGEL in June 2020, setting a record as a solar development tender. the world’s largest ever awarded.
So far, AGEL has signed a PPA with SECI for a total generating capacity of nearly 6,000 MW out of a total of 8,000 MW awarded in 2020. Adani Green is expected to close the remaining 2000 MW PPA within 2-3 months. next.
