You may not know Adele Uddo by name, but you’ve certainly seen her at work. A longtime “parts” model – such as specializing in hands, lips and feet – Adele has doubled for many A-list celebrities, including Katy Perry, Behati Prinsloo and Penelope Cruz.
This unique career has led Adele to develop her personal skin care line to help her stay healthy and ready to go on the show. As friends and family began urging her to reveal her secret, Adele eventually connected with a “top builder” in Los Angeles to make Adele’s Essentiel available to more people.
So, what makes this minimalist line so special? We connected with founders and entrepreneurs to find out for themselves.
E !: When did you debut Adele’s Essentiel?

E!: What inspired you to create this line?
I’ve been doing “parts modeling” for years, mostly hands, but lips, legs, feet, and I soon realized I needed to keep my skin super healthy. There is a lot of high-definition close-up photography [in that line of work]! I’ve been experimenting with different moisturizers on the market and I’m starting to see this trend of higher prices but lower quality ingredients. So I solved the problem on my own and started working with natural organic products that I am familiar with from the farm I grew up on.
E! Do you have any favorite aspects of your product?
Versatile aspect. Essentiel provides good nutrition for your skin, nourishes every part of your face, hands and body, and it’s good for the planet! Each ingredient is hand-selected with a specific purpose: Hyaluronic acid plumps the skin; Coffee berries are a natural antioxidant; raspberries tighten the skin; and MSM is a sulfur compound that helps the skin produce collagen, in a few examples. There are no artificial fragrances, nor are there; essential oils only.

E !: Is there anything shoppers might not know about you or your product that you’d like to share?
I always joke that I’ve always wanted to contribute more to society beyond beautiful nail beds, so I feel incredibly grateful for creating this product and for being as well received as it has been. .
