Apple introduces limited edition AirTag, special edition of Beats Studio Buds to celebrate the Year of the Tiger
Apple has introduced a limited edition AirTag that will be given to the first 20,000 customers to purchase an eligible iPhone in Japan between January 2 and 3 to celebrate the Japanese New Year. The limited edition will feature a special Tiger emoji as 2022 is said to be the Year of the Tiger in this country. In addition to the new AirTag, Apple has announced the launch of its special edition Beats Studio Buds, which also honors the year of the Tiger and features an all-red design with gold tiger print accents.
Customers buy iPhone 12″, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone SE (2020) from January 2 to 3 in Japan will have a chance to get the limited edition AirTag with Tiger emoji, Apple announced through a dedicated offer page on its website.
The Cupertino Company will also provide a Apple Gift Card up to JPY 24,000 (approximately Rs 15,700) for customers purchasing a 13-inch MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini and 27-inch iMac in Japan.
Under the same offer, buyers of 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will receive an Apple Gift Card worth JPY 12,000 (about Rs 7,800), while customers choose Apple Watch Series 3 or Apple Watch SE will be eligible to receive an Apple Gift Card worth JPY6,000 (approximately Rs 3,900) and AirPods (2nd generation), AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max Apple Gift Card worth 9,000 JPY (approximately Rs 5,900) will be available.
Customers who purchase the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone SE will also be eligible for a JPY6,000 Apple Gift Card (approximately Rs 3,900).
Besides, Beats Studio 3 Wireless, Wireless Solo 3 headphones and Apple TV, as well as accessories including Apple Pencil (2nd generation), Smart Keyboard Folio and Magic Keyboard will be provided with an Apple Gift Card worth up to JPY6,000 (approximately Rs 3,900).
Along with limited edition AirTag and Apple Card deals, Apple’s Beats has revealed the special edition Beats Studio Buds to celebrate the Lunar New Year and portray the theme of the Year of the Tiger.
The limited edition Beats Studio Buds will feature an all-new design in red with gold tiger print accents. The headphones will be available for purchase in select markets starting January 1, the company speak in an Instagram post.
Pricing details for the new Beats Studio Buds have yet to be revealed. However, the earbuds can be around the same price as regular Beats Studio Buds, currently available at $119.99 (about Rs. 9,000) per Apple website in the US.
