Love Batman Actor Kevin Conroy has died aged 66, Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed on Friday.
Conquer Batman voiced in 15 movies, plus hundreds of TV episodes and numerous video games, including Batman: Animated Series display and Batman: Arkham Game.
He died after “a brief battle with cancer,” Warner Bros. announced in a statement.

Diane Pershing, a voice actress who starred opposite Conroy as the villain Poison Ivy, marked his departure on Facebook.
“Very sad news: our favorite Batman vocalist, Kevin Conroy, passed away yesterday,” Pershing wrote. “He was sick for a while but he really spent a lot of time dealing with the cons, to the joy of all the fans. He will be greatly missed not only by the cast of the series but also by the worldwide fan base.”
Conroy attended the Juilliard School, where he was a roommate of actor Robin Williams. He kicked off his career with hit theatrical productions, including acclaimed roles in Shakespeare’s Hamlet and Midsummer night’s dream.
He received his biggest name recognition when he received the Dark Knight’s cape in 1992, in Batman: Animated Series. He would continue to play the superhero for many years, during which time he would become a fan favorite and a frequent guest at conventions.
He also moved emotionally about his experiences as a gay man oriented to a less accepted Hollywood. This year, he published the short story “Finding Batman” as part of a graphic novel anthology DC Pride 2022focus on LGBTQ stories in the superhero universe. In his autobiographical story, he describes finding kinship with his character Bruce Wayne, who struggles with his identity following the death of his parents.
“As Bruce, I felt disoriented and lost, my identity unknown when my parents were brutally pulled strings. I felt disoriented and lost as an actor whose identity was taken from him,” Conroy wrote. “Am I my public face or my private face? Did I compromise too much? “
Conroy is survived by her husband Vaughn C. Williams.
