Ben Affleck is grateful for second chances, including Jennifer Lopez
“In just the last five years, I’ve actually felt more and more grateful for the hardships that I’ve been through. It’s not insignificant, because much of that pain stems from the pain caused to others. And that turned out to be the most painful thing in life,” he told the publication.
But he says he’s happy their romance is rekindling.
“I can say it’s definitely beautiful to me. And, you know, one of the things I really appreciate in every aspect of my life right now is that it’s been handled in a way that reflects that. there,” he said. “My life now is not only a reflection of the person I want to be, but the person I truly feel like I am — not perfect, but someone who has worked hard and cares a lot about being honest, genuine and responsible. It’s hard to say who benefits more, without going into trivial detail.”
He added: “I can only say I feel great because I’m very healthy. And it’s a good story. It’s a great story. And, you know, maybe one day. I will tell I will write it all down. [Pauses] And then I’ll burn it up. [Laughs]”
He reminds himself that a second chance in any form is a gift, saying, “I’m so lucky in my life that I’ve benefited from a second chance, and I know that people Others don’t even get the first chance.”
“I got a second chance in my career. I got a second chance as a human being. Life is hard, we always fail and hope to learn from our failures. there,” he said. “The one thing you really need to take advantage of the opportunities that come with that growth is a second chance. I certainly tried to take advantage of that. I wasn’t always successful, but in schools. If I have, they’ve turned out to be defining aspects of my life. But tell your wife to imagine the best story, and I’m sure that’s the real version.”
