President Joe Biden again ruled out any direct U.S. intervention to thwart Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Friday, warning that such conflict pits the NATO alliance against the United States. The Kremlin “was the Third World War.”
“We will not go to war against Russia in Ukraine,” Biden said in a speech at the White House, dismissing increasingly desperate calls from Kyiv for NATO to intervene against the Russian attack.
