Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer, Ironheart has a big future for the MCU
Marvel Studios brings a new armor-clad superhero to the cinemas (and eventually Disney Plus) alongside Ironheart, the heir to the late Tony Stark. Ironheart will appear in both years Black Panther next part, Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverand in an independent, eponymous series for Disney Plus in 2023. And in new trailer for Wakanda Foreverwill release on November 11, 2022, we see the young hero plunge into battle for the first time.
Ironheart’s alternate self is Riri Williams, a genius inventor who has created what Marvel describes as “the most advanced armor since Iron Man”. Played by Dominique Thorne (If Beale Street could talk), the young Riri dons the cloak of Ironheart after she builds her own improved armor – armor she will apparently upgrade with Wakanda’s advanced technology and extraterrestrial elements Its powerful, Vibranium.
Ryan Coogler explained: “The film deals with a lot of things, but one of them is the bad guys – people who exist in contrast, but have a similarity. Weekly entertainment. “In this movie, we get to see Shuri meet someone who has some things in common with her, but is also very, very different.”
Riri Williams launched her Marvel comics in 2016, on the pages of Iron Man is invincible. While studying engineering at MIT – Tony Stark’s alma mater – Riri reverse-engineered an old model of Iron Man’s armor and fought a bit of crime, naturally attracting Stark’s attention and then doing working with an AI clone of Tony after he was in a coma.
Ironheart, slated for Fall 2023, isn’t the only Iron Man spin-off in the Disney Plus works. Marvel Studios also has Armor WarsBased on the recent classic manga of the same name promoted from the Disney Plus series into an official theatrical film. The film will return Don Cheadle as James Rhodes, aka War Machine, confronting Stark technology falling into the wrong hands.
