Brittany Force Best Qualifier at NHRA Northwest Nationals

Kent, Wash. – Top Brittany Force captain finished qualifying at the Pacific Circuit on Saturday by taking 1st place in the NHRA Northwest Nationals.

Last week’s event winner in Sonoma, California, Force ran 3.753 seconds at 327.35 mph for the season’s fifth No. 1 and 37th overall. She has four wins this year.

“It’s really important for this team to make a killer run and down the track,” Force said. “We got the answers to our first two runs and got through the third lap. I didn’t expect that in the heat, but but [crew chief David] Grubnic says he wants to push and wants to put us at the very top of the field. It is pretty outstanding for this team. “

Bob Tasca III tops the Funny Car list and Greg Anderson is the fastest in Pro Stock.

Tasca’s sixth run of 3,965 at 319.82 in the Ford Mustang secured its first No. 1 spot of the season and seventh overall. Anderson has a score of 6,604 at 208.07 on the Chevrolet Camaro for his first #1 of the year and career 119th.
