BTS member Suga has tested positive for Covid-19
The company said Suga took the PCR test when he returned from the US on Thursday, with a positive announcement on Friday morning.
According to restrictions in Korea, Suga has been quarantined after testing and has not been in contact with other members of the group BTS, the statement added.
Suga has had no symptoms since Friday and is currently “under home treatment” in accordance with the country’s medical guidelines, BIGHIT Music said.
He is fully vaccinated, received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and tested negative before leaving the US. The company added that it will fully support Suga’s recovery while cooperating with health authorities.
South Korea has required all international travelers, including South Korean nationals, to undergo a ten-day quarantine regardless of their vaccination status.
