Conservative media figures worked overtime to discredit Cassidy Hutchinson’s bombshell testimonyformer aide to Mark Meadows, who told the House Committee January 6 on Tuesday of some damn episodes in the final days of President Donald Trump in office.
On Wednesday, Newsmax even resorted to body language expert Gregory Hartley, who commented that one aspect of Hutchinson’s way of speaking was “involving” with him, while another aspect of Hutchinson’s speech was “involving” him. the other side is the “red flag”.
Hartley was asked to react to three clips from Tuesday’s hearing. In the first part, Hutchinson recalls what she did said by an undercover agent who was with Trump when he was reluctantly removed from the Capitol on January 6.
Hartley began by saying that Hutchinson showed a “flight or flight” response. “We expect that. She’s sitting in front of Parliament. What is she, 26 years old? Me too. “
Putting that aside, he continued, “When she talks about Trump, she does something very primitive that we all do: She pushes her tongue over her lips… Usually, we see this. That is associated with deception.”
“She also pauses after that tongue flick, before she says anything about Trump in each of these clips. That would worry me. It doesn’t mean she’s lying; that means I have concerns,” Hartley said. “And again, there are so many other things you can go into here. There’s no passion, no animation, and her style — her hands moving and illustrating — doesn’t exactly match her story. But that’s not her story, it’s used information.”
In the second clip, in which Hutchinson describes a note she says Meadows wrote for her, Hartley tells Newsmax host Hogan Gidley that he really couldn’t take “a lot” from it. but commented on the position of her forehead.
That’s not the case with the third clip. In it, Hutchinson describes the consequences of Trump throwing a plate of food against the wall in response to then-Attorney General Bill Barr. speak Associated Press in December 2020 that there is no widespread voter fraud.
Gidley, who served as Trump’s 2020 campaign press secretary, made sure to point out that his former boss turned down Hutchinson’s account on Truth Social.

“And then she changed the word patterns—always a red flag for me,” he continued. “She changed it to ‘the servant made it clear’ instead of ‘the servant told me this.’ She is saying ‘said, said,’ and now… there is a word pattern change. It’s a red flag. You jump into that whenever you hear it. “
