Chadwick Boseman honored by friends on his birthday
The “Black Panther” star, who will turn 45 on November 29 passed away in August 2020 after his own battle with colon cancer.
A post on his verified Instagram account showed Boseman in a photograph overlooking vegetation, water, and mountains.
“While we are all remembering his incredible spirit today, we are grateful for the lessons and legacy he left behind,” the caption read. “This day has given him to us- we will continue to celebrate him and revel in all the love you are sending him. Happy birthday to heaven, Chad.”
His “Black Panther” co-star Lupita Nyong’o posted a photo of them hugging with no caption.
Actor Viola Davis shared Boseman’s compilation video from People magazine.
“Happy Birthday in Heaven! Oh how did you miss ….. your talent, your heart, your legacy!,” she wrote in the caption. “Love you King..before.”
