Cities: Skylines II Announced, Released This Year
Cities: Skylines II was announced at the Paradox Announcement Show today and it will launch later this year.
This sequel builds on its 2015 predecessor with new features, such as a fully implemented economy and transportation system. Paradox didn’t reveal too many specifics other than stating in a press release that the game has “a lot of build and customization options as well as advanced modding capabilities.” Cities: Skylines II is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S (including Game Pass), and PC. Check out the teaser trailer below:
The original game was a huge success, selling over 12 million copies and filling the simulation void left by the SimCity hiatus. The developer Colossal Order has supported it with many updates and expansions, including a VR portal and a current generation remake.
