CUET-UG 2022: NTA initiates action against exam centres for non-compliance of protocols | India News
NEW DELHI: After the High School-University Entrance Examination (CUET-UG) Tests were canceled at more than 50 centers on Friday due to technical problems, National testing agency (NTA) on Saturday said action would be taken against the hubs for “non-compliance with protocols”.

According to NTA sources, most of the centers where exams have been canceled since CUET-UG 2022 starting July 15 are likely to be delisted.

The agency will also extend the overdue exam, most likely until August 23, to accommodate candidates who have had their exams cancelled.
Furthermore, candidates who are experiencing test date conflicts due to CUET test schedule changes will be required to email CUET admission forms and exam dates on the same date so that a new date can be allocated.
“The NTA is trying to attract the majority of candidates in their first choice city and some may have to be allotted to their second choice. However, in the event that there is a clash between the exam subjects, candidates should write an application with the admission ticket to change the date,” an NTA official said.
The NTA notified all candidates who had their exams canceled on August 6 via SMS and email on Friday. However, some candidates who missed contact with the NTA came to take the exam on Saturday and learned through the cancellation notice posted at the centers.
Of the 53 centers where exams were cancelled, 32 are in Delhi. The four centers are from Jharkhand and three words Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who were scheduled to take their test will now be placed in accommodation between 12 and 14 August.
Another problem that emerged was that some candidates’ pass cards showed their new test dates after the final official date of August 20. There was also no mention of centers. There are others who are scheduled to take the test on August 7, 8 and 10 but have yet to receive their pass.
