Declan Rice joins viral karaoke craze to rap Vanilla Ice classic
Declan Rice emerged as an unlikely rap craze on social media this week after he joined the “Sing Your Dialect” karaoke craze taking over Twitter Spaces.
NS West Ham United and England the midfielder appeared and rapping a passage from Vanilla Ice’s classic hit “Ice Ice Baby”, in which he changed the chorus to “Rice Rice Baby.”
It’s all part of the “Sing Your Dialect” phenomenon that has gone viral this week, which has seen a host of famous football faces take part.

Sing Your Dialect karaoke party was launched on Twitter’s new Spaces function on Monday, created by Jacob McLaughlin, an 18-year-old from Manchester, who already has “100 Twitter followers and doesn’t need to do anything else. .”
McLaughlin initially invited only four of his friends to perform, but the link quickly spread as 150,000 eager fans flooded in from around the world.
“Sing your dialect is [started as] karaoke for everyone,” McLaughlin said. “No matter how big or small you are on Twitter, anyone can participate.
“Everyone is on the same level. It’s funny, we’re not serious here. It was just a joke.”
However, it wasn’t long until the joke spread around the world, with a host of football clubs from the Premier League to unrelated leagues, individual players and fans jumping on board. .
There are many celebrities to be found in the audience including various Youtubers, TV personalities, pop stars, professional soccer players… oh, and Barack Obama, the former President of USA, who sat and listened attentively as Shrewsbury Town team sing ABBA.

Arsenal Goalie Aaron Ramsdale also participated, with Bruno Fernandes, Gabriel Martinelli and before City of Manchester Defender Micah Richards also noted the guests among those listening.
A strong performance from the FA was exemplified by the entire Morecambe FC defence, who proved just how tight a unit they really are by working together. to sing “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” by The Script.

Sing Your Dialect and other Twitter Spaces essentially function as a group phone call where the host controls who speaks at the same time. Jacob deserves to be the master of ceremonies as people line up to perform karaoke versions of their favorite songs.
Rice was first discovered listening on opening night, even implied that he would be willing to participate and sing a song yourself.
