Fashion magazine ELLE is banning fur from the pages of all of its international editions in a move to advocate for animal rights and reflect changing tastes, the publication said on Thursday.

Bessolo LLopiz said each of the magazine’s 45 global editions has signed a charter banning the editing of animal fur advertising content on the magazine’s print and social media pages. know at The Business of Fashion’s VOICES 2021 conference.
Owners ELLE Lagardère Group partnered with the Humane Society of the United States, the Humane Society International and Creative4Change to write the charter.
