The Kadak Roomali was the first dish we tried during our visit. One of Copper Chimney’s most famous dishes, it’s basically a paper-thin bread that is baked until crispy and topped with onions, tomatoes, and spices. A similar concept to Masala Papad, it is truly an addictive snack. Next is Broccoli Sarson, a grilled broccoli appetizer with chili mustard influenced by Punjabi flavors. The rich flavor of Sarson of the Broccoli stands out from the rest. We also sampled Chelo Kebab with signature Paneer Tikka from Iran are served on a layer of buttered Basmati rice. Main course and dessert
The elaborate menu at Copper Chimney left us spoiled for choice. After much consideration, we chose Spiced Punjabi Potatoes – Sweet potatoes seasoned with aromatic Amritsari and red peppers. The aromatic flavor of garlic and tomatoes was extremely prominent in this dish. Next, Vegetable Makhanwala It is a savory dish with a mixture of seasonal vegetables in a creamy tomato sauce, topped with crushed cashews. While the prep work was great, we felt there could have been a few more veggies in there.
Our meal wouldn’t be complete without trying Dal Maharaja – simmered black lentils overnight over a slow charcoal fire with a little butter. The delights of ice cream appeal to our palates and cannot have enough. The Copper roti basket It comes with our main course and has options like Roomali Roti, Laccha Paratha, Butter Naan and Aloo-stuffed Kulcha. Overall, the dish is subtly seasoned and without too much heat or chili, so it is suitable for all ages.
We ended our meal with Muzaffar, an enchanting thick Lucknowi Rabri topped with roasted vermicelli. Copper Chimney also has a special mango menu going on over the summer, which we’ve been enjoying Mango Kulfi with Mango. Both desserts left us with many impressions.
