Ex-Spotify Head of Music Business Development Karibi Dagogo-Jack named Head of Music Partnerships at Roblox


SpotifyKaribi Dagogo-Jack’s former Music Business Development Manager has been appointed the Music Partner Director at gaming platform Roblox.

The chief executive appointment is part of a broader expansion of Roblox’s global partnerships team with key hires and appointments.

Dagogo-Jack’s date arrives several months later Jonathan Vlassopulos, Roblox’s former Global Music Director, left his role at the end of April.

As part of what Roblox calls “expanding” its global partner pool, Dagogo-Jack joins new hires and appoints Todd Lichten as Head of Entertainment Partnerships, Winnie Burke, Head of Audience Fashion & Beauty Partner, Hayden Walling, Head of Sports Partnerships, and Arvind Jayaram, Head of Account Management, Partners.

Dagogo-Jack will oversee and build relationships between Roblox and artists, brands, managers, publishers, and producers.

At Spotify, He is responsible for pursuing strategic opportunities for corporate playlists and artist shows.

As Director of Entertainment Partnerships at Roblox, Lichten will be responsible for creating strategic relationships with film and television studios, talent and digital media brands.

Previously he was Head of Emerging Content at Meta (Facebook), where he hosts events like Graduation 2020 with Oprah WinfreyFacebook’s first joint production with Instagram.

Todd has also developed original series for the social platform, including the Emmy Award-winning talk show The conversation on the red table.

Winnie Burke has worked with Roblox for over seven years, helping to create high-fashion virtual figures through partnerships with brands such as Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Nike, VANS, Alo, Tommy Hilfiger and Givenchy Beauty.

Prior to joining Roblox, Walling spent a decade at Nike helping to gamble its products through the integration of the DSP platform into Nike Activity applications and the Nike/Jordan brands collaboration with gaming partners like 2k, EA, EpicNintendo, PlayStation and Xbox.

As Head of Account Management, Partner at Roblox, Arvind Jayaram will oversee a team that “provides partners with the best methods and tools to get their IP into [Roblox] the company said.

The new hires and appointments at Roblox follow a recent significant boost to the gaming platform’s musical presence.
