Unbeaten Flight route (Tapit) has adjusted for his much-anticipated 4-year-old debut in GII San Carlos S. on March 5 with a four-time run at: 47.80 (6/86) at Santa Anita Sunday.
Coach John Sadler said: “I let him: 48 years old and a follower of me, but more importantly the path he took,” said coach John Sadler. “He looks very comfortable and it is just a start on the road back. He’s going back to San Carlos, but the big goal is [June 11 GI] Meters. ”
The flight path, unimpeded in three lifetime starts, has been marked ‘Rising star TDN’ after his first win at Santa Anita last April and he added an optional claimant at Del Mar in September ahead of a devastating 11 1/2 win in GI on December 26 Runhappy Malibu S. in the most recent boot.
When asked about a possible encounter with Saturday’s impressive World Cup Invitational GI Pegasus winner, Life Is Good (Into Mischief), Sadler said, “It’s going to be a great, very exciting race. taste.”
