Gabrielle Union explains why the truth being told Part 3 is personal
For inspiration for season three of Truth be toldall of Gabrielle’s Union have to do is look around.
The actress joins the cast of Apple TV series + in the third season, premiering on January 20, starring the stars Octavia Spencer as podcaster and journalist Poppy Parnell. In season three, Gabrielle plays Eva, “an unorthodox principal,” according to the streamer, who works to keep the names of the missing black and brown girls on the title while “chase of who led a suspected sex-trafficking ring.”
In an exclusive interview with E! News’ Justin SylvesterGabrielle explains how the season’s theme reflects the actual conversations she and her husband have Dwyane Wade had with their own children.
“We have to include this soon,” Gabrielle said. “We live in port cities. Port cities are hubs for human trafficking. You might think you can price your way or educate your way or high socioeconomic status. to get out of danger, and you absolutely can’t. That would be your first mistake.”
Gabrielle and Dwyane share a daughter Kaavia James4 years old and Gabrielle is the stepmother of her son Zaire20, daughter Zaya15 and son Xavier9. Dwyane is also the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris21.
