Gators release ’23 QB recruiting Jaden Rashada from NLI
Jaden Rashadaa top promising midfielder in the class of 2023, was removed from his national letter of intent by Florida and is now free to sign with another team, a source told ESPN.
Rashada, the highest-rated entrant in the Gators’ 2023 category in December, has requested his release after a $13 million name, photo and portrait package reportedly failed.
State law prohibits Florida colleges from offering or arranging for NIL compensation. Therefore, transactions made through third parties are known as collectives.
The Associated Press reports that Gator Collective has terminated its agreement with Rashada, which will be paid out over four years.
Rashada never signed up for the class and asked to be released at the beginning of the week.
27 in ESPN 300, Rashada became the highest-ranked available prospect in the 2023 division.
National Signing Day is February 1st.
Rashada, who is from California, initially committed miami before reneging on his commitment to Florida.
He has received offers from several Power 5 programs. According to Sports 247, he has made an official visit to LSU, Texas A&M and Miss Oleout of Miami and Florida.

Florida signed Wisconsin Top transfers and former recruiters Graham Mertz in December. He is expected to compete with the former Ohio State transfer Jack Miller III for work to begin.
