Genshin Impact On Switch ‘Still In Development’
It’s been more than two years since miHoYo announced the Nintendo Switch port of The Genshin effect. News about the port has been sparse since, but the company confirmed that the project is still in development on Thursday.
During the long wait for the Switch port, some players began to doubt the eventual completion of the project, theorizing that miHoYo abandoned the project due to the Switch’s technical limitations. However, miHoYo has released a statement to reassure players that the project is still a work in progress.
“The Switch version is still in development and we will announce more information as we progress further,” a rep said. GoNintendo.
No further details were provided by miHoYo regarding the upcoming port.
Although the release date of the Switch port is still unknown, but The Genshin effect the team has consistently updated the game every six weeks (apart from the current unexplained hiatus). Most recently, miHoYo introduced Version 2.6Introducing new characters Kamisato Ayato and an expansion pack for Liyue called The Chasm. Version 2.6 also more stories about the Kamisato HouseA beloved family from the land of Inazuma in the game.
