Gervonta Davis was once confined at home in a $3.4 million apartment & Four Seasons hotel
Via Craig Daly: Gervonta Davis spent 90 days in home confinement at the Four Seasons hotel and his new $3.4 million penthouse in Baltimore instead of at the coach’s one-bedroom home Calvin Ford, that’s what the Baltimore Circuit Judge Althea M.Convenient wants.
With Gervonta disobeying the judge’s wish for a 90-day house arrest, he has now been taken into custody and will spend the rest of his life in prison.
There is no word on how the judge found out that Gervonta Davis was not at coach Calvin Ford’s home. Moreover, Davis, 28, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, doesn’t understand that he is supposed to stay at Ford’s house during the 90-day period? This information should have been explained to Tank by the judge at his sentencing hearing last month.
Renowned lightweight champion Tank Davis was sentenced to 90 days of house arrest last month for a 2020 crash and run that left four people injured.
Davis, a former Mayweather boxer, has quickly become one of the most famous boxers but hasn’t done any real risky fights that are likely to cost him.
Fans wanted Tank to take on more formidable opponents like Shakur Stevenson, Vasyl Lomachenko, Regis Prograis and Devin Haneey, but that didn’t happen.
However, Davis’ popularity has skyrocketed and he recently made a lot of money beating Ryan Garcia last April, an untested boxer with a weak background but an Instagram huge with more than 10 million followers. If those two fight again, it will still bring in a lot of PPV purchases due to their large social media following.
“Baltimore Circuit Judge Althea M. Handy said she allowed Davis, 28, who lives in Parkland, Florida, to conduct house arrest at the home of his trainer, Calvin Ford, in Baltimore. She said she was never asked to change that location. She doesn’t want Davis sitting by the pool or hanging out at the spa,” said Dylan Segelbaum & Justin Fenton Baltimore banner.
When Tank Davis finally gets out of prison around July, fans will be eager to see who he will fight this year, if at all. There is a great need for Tanks to fight Devin Haney or Shakur Stevenson. Davis’s coach Ford wanted him to fight Haney or Isaac Cruz.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Tank Davis chooses to sit out for the rest of 2023 and enjoy his multi-million dollar post-match win with Ryan.
