Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro Limited screen specs, may have screens similar to Pixel 6 . series


Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro – Google’s upcoming flagship smartphones – screen specifications have surfaced online, ahead of the handset’s launch later this year. The smartphones are said to have the same display as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro launched last year. The company introduced its next-generation handsets at its annual Google I/O developer conference earlier this month and revealed that they will be powered by an updated Tensor SoC and will run on the newly released Android 13.

By code in Android Open Source Project (AOSP) spot by 9to5Google, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be equipped with Samsung screens like Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, corresponding. The display driver for the Pixel 7 is codenamed Cheetah and tagged with C10, while the driver for the Pixel 7 Pro is codenamed Panther and tagged with P10. Both files reveal the specifications of the upcoming handset, according to the report.

Like the Pixel 6, the upcoming Pixel 7 will feature a full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate, as code the point to use Samsung’s S6E3FC3 control board. Meanwhile, Google has yet to officially reveal the complete specifications of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, ahead of the expected launch later this year.
