How J.Lo and others are showing support in the midst of devastating Hurricane Fiona


Celebrities are coming together to support Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

Jennifer Lopez, Bad Rabbit, Ricky Martin and many others are speaking out after Hurricane Fiona left the archipelago without power on September 19, according to NBC News. J.Lo posted a her Instagram story urges her followers to do what they can and shares a link to the Hispanic League, which is “the Latino nation’s leading nonprofit membership organization”, according to its website.

“It is extremely important that we do what we can to help families in Puerto Rico and now the Dominican Republic,” she wrote. “The member organizations of this confederation of Spaniards are on the ground to assess what the real needs of the people of the archipelago are.”

Less than 24 hours before Hurricane Fiona made landfall, Reggaetón’s Bad Bunny star debuted 22 minutes Documentary style music video for his popular song “El Apagón” (meaning “Blackout” in Spanish). 16 September video, which surpassed 5 million viewers on YouTube, sheds light on Puerto Rican residents’ stories from the work of a journalist Bianca Graulau.
