International Men’s Day 2022: 3 delicious and unique recipes you must try
International Men’s Day 2022: On November 19, the world celebrates international men’s day to recognize the outstanding contributions men make to their society, family and community. This is an opportunity for all individuals of goodwill to show respect for the men in their lives and recognize the contributions they have made to society for the benefit of everyone. Helping men and boys is the theme of this year’s International Men’s Day. Food is universal love, and it’s one of the best ways to celebrate any occasion. Instead of serving them the same old pies and curries, try surprising them with some new dishes. - Chicken Tikka Paratha
(Recipe by chef Ajay Chopra)
Element:
4-5 pieces of chicken Tikka chopped
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
1 teaspoon chopped green chili
1 tablespoon chopped onion
2 tablespoons Coriander – Mint leaves
salt to taste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 tablespoon cheese/Mayonnaise
Atta powder
Ghee / Oil for frying
Method:
1. First, grind the chicken tikka pieces until it is finely chopped. Now take a bowl, put the minced chicken in it, add all the masala one by one and mix everything well. Your tikka paratha stuffing is ready.
2. Take a small portion of the dough. Make a round and flat shape from the edges to keep the middle thick.
3. Put a generous amount of tikka filling in the center of the flat dough and wrap from the edges so that all the tikka filling is inside the paratha dough.
4. Now make a nice ball shape and sprinkle some flour on it then roll the dough into a nice flat bread like roti or Indian bread.
5. Now take a tawa and place it over the fire. Let it heat for a while. Then add the flatbread to the Tawa.
6. Once cooked from one side, flip to the other side. Put some ghee or oil on the cooked side and then repeat the process on the other side. Your amazing chicken tikka paratha is ready to serve.
2. Stuffed Idli
(Recipe of Jeyashri kitchen)
Element:
1 and 1/4 cup
potatoes 1
Onion 1 large
Cooking oil 3 teaspoons
Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
Urad dal 1/4 teaspoon
Green chili 1
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
Few curry leaves
Few leaves coriander
Salt when needed
Few curry leaves
Idli milagai podi when needed
Sesame oil as needed
Method:
1. Boil potatoes and mash by hand. Chop onions. In a pan add oil and add mustard seeds and urad dal.
2. Add finely chopped green chili and curry leaves. Stir-fry for a few seconds and add the onion.
3. Mix well and add salt and turmeric. Stir-fry until onions become transparent.
4. Add mashed potatoes and garam masala. Mix well and blend the mixture. It will come as a block.
5. Do not add water. If the mixture feels too dry, just sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of water. Cook for one minute and turn off the heat. Add coriander leaves.
6. Stuffed potatoes are ready to stuff idli. Let cool completely. Make balls of equal size and flatten them.
7. Flatten them so you can easily stuff them inside the idli. Lubricate the idli mold and add some flour to it. Fill the mold halfway.
8. Place a piece of potato on top. Add a little more flour to cover the filling. Steam this for 7-8 minutes. You can stick a toothpick in the edge of the idli to check if it’s done.
9. If it’s clean, you’re done. Remove from pan and after 2 minutes remove idlis from mold. Cut them in half and serve it as an idli.
10. If making idli bite, put idli milagai podi on a plate. Mix this with sesame oil. Roll all stuffed idlis with milagai podi and coat evenly.
11. Cut them into bite-sized pieces. Pack them for a lunch box or serve it as a teatime snack. You can also serve stuffed idlis with coconut chutney.
3. Kunafa Shahi Tukda

Element:
Smooth noodles on request
4 slices of white bread
½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
Refined powder slurry for coating
Oil for deep frying
Rabdi ready to serve
Ready-made sugar syrup
Pistachio powder for sprinkling
Dried rose petals for decoration
Method:
1. Take a slice of white bread, sprinkle with ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese and cover with another slice of bread to make a sandwich. Cut all edges.
2. Crush the vermicelli.
3. Dip the bread into the filtered flour mixture and cover with the mashed vermicelli mixture.
4. Heat enough oil in the kadai. Gently add each sandwich and deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Drain on absorbent paper.
5. Take the rabdi on a serving plate. Place fried bread on top, drizzle with warm sugar syrup, sprinkle with pistachio powder and garnish with dried rose petals. Service
