ISL 2023-24: Chennaiyin FC bid farewell to head coach Thomas Brdaric
Before the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL 2023-24), Chennaiyin FC and Thomas Brdaric broke up.
Brdaric has led the first team in a total of 28 matches: 10 wins, 8 draws and 10 losses. During this period, the team has scored 53 goals and conceded 52 goals.

ex-Germany player started his tenure at ChennaiyinFC during that time Durand Cup where the team reached the quarterfinals. He was also in charge during the course of ISL 2022-23 campaign in which Marina Machans finished the tournament stage in eighth place with 27 points. Chennaiyin FC recorded seven wins and suffered many defeats in six draws during the season.

Brdaric’s men participated for the last time Super Cup since they failed to make it through to the knockout round, the third place in their group includes Mumbai City Football Club, NorthEast United FC and Churchill Brothers FC.
