Jason Allen promoted to Senior Director of Infrastructure Operations at TuneCore
Jason Allen has been promoted to Senior Director of Infrastructure Operations at the digital music distributor TuneCoreowned by headquarters in Paris Believe since 2015.
In his new role, Allen will continue to manage the DevOps and Database team, which leads the deployment and delivery of infrastructure, security, data, and back-end automation. behind TuneCore’s product.
Allen also manages TuneCore’s internal IT functions, working closely with Believe to coordinate activities for all global employees.
Allen joined TuneCore over three years ago.
Since then, TuneCore says he has been “indispensable” in building the company’s infrastructure team, improving TuneCore’s cloud-based infrastructure and databases, and implementing frameworks new security and manage business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Allen also creates new monitoring and dashboard solutions that keep TuneCore employees aware of the platform’s performance.
Prior to joining TuneCore, Allen was the Director of Platform and Technical Operations at PBS.
Over the past year, the company has prioritized several product launches, TuneCore said.
This includes TuneCore Rewards and TuneCore Certified features as well as the Social Platform, a service launched in November 2021 allows artists to distribute their music directly into the music libraries of social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Reels.
