Joe Biden resumes duties after short-term transfer of power: White House
Washington:
President Joe Biden has re-handled power after briefly handing over power to Vice President Kamala Harris while under anesthesia for a routine medical procedure, the White House said on Friday.
Press secretary Jen Psaki tweeted that Biden spoke with Harris and his chief of staff at around 11:35 a.m. (1635 GMT) and “at that point resumed his duties.”
Biden is “in good spirits” and remains at the president’s facility at Walter Reed hospital to complete “the rest of his usual physical,” Psaki tweeted.
