Julia Hummel named Vice President, Digital Strategy & Business Development, at Warner Music Canada
Julia Hummel has been appointed Vice President, Digital Strategy & Business Development, at Warner Music Canada.
Hummel will help its artists take advantage of opportunities in Web3 and will work to strengthen relationships with its existing digital partners.
Hummel joins from Amazon Music Canada, where she is the Artist & Partner Marketing Manager, leads the company’s strategy for digital, social, live-streaming and brand partnerships.
Hummel will be based in Toronto and report to Andy West, EVP and General Manager of Warner Music Canada, who has taken on the role. in january.
Hummel began his music career at Warner Music Canada in 2014, first joining as a Marketing Coordinator.
In 2018, she seized an opportunity at Warner Music UK was the Director of Digital Marketing, before returning to Warner Music Canada to become the Director, Marketing Strategy.
After moving to Amazon Music Canada in 2020.
While there, she helped build business in Canada and led cross-industry partnerships with Amazon verticals, including Alexa, Prime Video, and Amazon-owned Twitch.
