Khatija Rahman looked stunning in her purple dress at her wedding reception; see pictures

The daughter of composer AR Rahman, Khatija Rahman, got married in May this year to her fiance, sound engineer Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed, and their wedding reception was held last week in Chennai, The photos were shared on social media.

We can’t help but swoon over the new bride’s outfit for the evening, which is a purple lehenga embellished with heavy zardozi work. Styled by celebrity and bridal stylist Shruti Agarwal, Khatija covered her head and face with a gorgeous matching bridal veil and a matching purple mask.

She also wears a traditional long bridal necklace, clad in pearls, and writes in the caption, “June 10. For many more years together at ARR Film City…”

Riyasdeen, on the other hand, complemented her with a black tuxedo and black trousers. Check out these pictures.

Khatija also recently shared a wedding video, writing with the caption, “With the prayers and blessings of our grandparents and family. On his big day (5/5). This would not have been possible without the support of my dearest family and team. ”

The groom and bride wore coordinated cream-colored outfits at their wedding.

Proud father AR Rahman took to his Instagram account to congratulate the couple. “May the Almighty bless the couple… thanks in advance for your well wishes and love. [Sic]”

Khatija and Riyasdeen became engaged in December 2021. She made the official announcement in a post, writing: “With the blessings of the Almighty, I am delighted to inform you of your engagement. Me with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed, an aspiring businessman and a sorcerer sound engineer. The engagement took place on December 29, my birthday in the presence of my family and loved ones. ”
