The wedding photos were posted on Twitter by Rohini Acharya, Tejashwi’s sister, who congratulated the couple – Tejashwi Yadav and Rachel Godinho – and wished them “lifetime happiness”.

Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav was among the guests.
The wedding is said to have been attended by around 50 close friends and family.
Tejashwi is the youngest child in a family of 9 siblings. He has seven sisters and one brother, Tej Pratap, who is separated.

Tejashwi, 32, is the Opposition Leader in the Bihar council. In last year’s election in Bihar, he led his party to win a strong vote count but the opposition coalition lost to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by Nitish Kumar.
“We are delighted. Tejashwi is the only one left (of Lalu-Rabri’s nine children) to get married,” said Bhai Virendra, RJD MLA and the party’s chief spokesman in Bihar.
“After the engagement, we look forward to a grand wedding. All of Bihar would like to be with their beloved leader in a happy moment.”
Although the wedding was held privately and little is known of the date, many supporters celebrated and distributed sweets.
Reports said the event was limited and of little importance as Tejashwi Yadav wanted to avoid a mass gathering at a time when the whole country was on alert for growing Omicron cases.
