The festive season has arrived and we are celebrating Navratri with the utmost enthusiasm. One of the biggest festivals of the Hindus, Navratri is celebrated for nine days. In Sanskrit, Navratri stands for ‘nine night’ (‘nav’ stands for nine and ‘ratri’ stands for night). During this time, Hindus worship nine avatars of Goddess Durga for strength and positivity. This year, Navratri begins on September 26, 2022, and will end with Dussehra (or Vijaya Dashami) on October 5, 2022. The ninth day of Navratri is called Navami (or Maha Navami).
