Man United notifies Premier League of COVID-19 cases
Manchester United notified the Premier League after a “small number” of players and staff tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday, sources revealed to ESPN.
United is expected to visit Brentford on Tuesday and is awaiting guidance on whether the schedule can resume. Tottenham Hotspur had their game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday postpone after a number of players and staff returned positive tests.

The United squad and related logistics staff have been cleared for the arrival Norwich City go ahead of them Win 1-0 at Carrow Road on Saturday after being issued a clean health certificate during the final routine checkup.
On Sunday, a group of players and staff members returned positive lateral flow tests and were sent home to practice. The rest of the players receive off-site, non-contact training and individual sessions.
This is not the first time United have been affected by the COVID outbreak. The club had a summer friendly against Preston called off after several players tested positive.
