Manchester United activated a one-year contract extension for four first-team players, including England ahead Marcus Rashfordmanager Erik ten Hag said.
Rashford, Diogo Dalot, Fred and Luke Shaw both are in the final year of their contracts but have the option to extend their contracts for an additional 12 months.

Rashford has found form again this season under new coach Ten Hag, making 20 appearances in all competitions and scoring 9 goals. Dalot, Fred and Shaw have also been heavily involved, each making more than 15 appearances in all competitions.
“Yes, I can confirm it,” Ten Hag told the club’s website in an excerpt from an interview to be published on Tuesday.
“We are happy that the team is on the right track and those players [have] a great contribution in that direction. We want to grow, we want to support those players, and we want them to continue our progress.

“So that’s why we come to those decisions, I’m sure they’re the right decisions. We want to build a team for the future, so in longer years, and those players have to be part of it.”
Goalie David de Gea, who is also in the final year of his contract and has a similar option to extend, has yet to reach an agreement with the club. Ten Hag said in October he hoped the Spaniard would stay at Old Trafford.
United, fifth in the Premier League table, face next at 18th place Forest of Nottingham on December 27th.
