25 years after release stage music video for her song “Honey,” pop star enlisted some special guests to recreate an iconic scene for the social network.
In one videos shared to TikTok On September 17, Mariah sat in a makeup chair pretending to be captured by kidnappers. As she lip-syncs her character’s infamous plea in Spanish, Strange things star Millie Bobby Brown and her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi surrounded her, role-playing the crowd, trying to interrogate her in a funny way.
She captioned the hilarious post, “‘Let’s go eat a buffet,’ citing the famous line from the music video.
Marah’s boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and her 11 year old twins–Morocco and Monroe the one she shares with her ex Nick Cannon—Also plays the villain in the video.
“Honey” is the lead single from Mariah’s sixth studio album Butterflywas released by Columbia Records on September 16, 1997. As fans may remember, the music video opens with the singer being held hostage in a mansion, where she escapes in a storyline that follows James Bond theme.
