New Delhi: Domestic stock markets are expected to trade cautiously on Thursday, following signals from global markets. Asian shares edged higher in volatile trade, buoyed by gains in Chinese property shares, although concerns about the Omicron variant of the novel coronavirus capped gains in the region. Trends on the SGX Nifty suggest a lower opening for markets back home. Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange also known as SGX Nifty Futures fell 0.30% or 51.75 points to 17,183.20.
The BSE Sensex benchmark ended 619.92 points or 1.09% higher at 57,684.79 on Wednesday; while the broader NSE Nifty was up 184.70 points or 1.08% to close at 17,166.90.

Maruti Suzuki India: The country’s largest carmaker saw output fall 3% last month. Maruti reported total production of 1,45,560 units in November compared with 1,50.221 units in the same month last year.
Bajaj Auto: The company’s two-wheeler sales in November this year fell 23% to 144,953 units from 188,196 units sold last year during the same period. Exports of the same type fell only 2% from 196,797 units last year to 193,520 vehicles exported this year.
Nykaa: The cosmetics-to-fashion retailer plans to more than triple its brick-and-mortar stores to 300, said founder and CEO Falguni Nayar, building significantly its offline presence in this country. Nayar declined to give a rollout schedule but said the company is targeting 100 cities, adding to the 84 retail stores it already operates in 40 cities.
HUL: Hindustan’s major fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) group Unilever Ltd has phased out the use of coal in its operations in India, replacing it with biomass coal and cleaner biodiesel, as part of a plan. cut carbon emissions.
TVS engine: TVS Motor Company recorded a decline in sales of two-wheelers in November. Last month’s sales figure was 272,693 units compared to sales of 322,709 units in November 2020.
