Meghan Markle finally debuted Ellen. The Duchess of Sussex was a guest on comedian Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show of the same name and shared many of the key moments in her life, including childbirth, royal life and living in America with husband, Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry.
The Duchess – a former actress – reminisces about the time when she used to go to auditions a lot, and would drive into the same parking lot in an old car with the driver’s side door not open. So she will have to get in the trunk! Amidst all the laughter, she reminds everyone how trustworthy and down-to-earth she is, despite all her years as a royal.
Archie and Lilibet
The mother-of-two, who moved to the US in early 2020, giving up her senior royal role and practically separating from the British royal family, also said of her children, this is the first time, because she She hasn’t been a guest on the talk show since her wedding in 2018.
Among their 2021 Halloween costumes, Meghan said her son Archie was a dinosaur, but that only “lasted about five minutes”. Interestingly, DeGeneres is the couple’s neighbor in Montecito, where they live.
Secret Halloween Party
As they kept their relationship a secret, Meghan and Harry secretly attended a Halloween party in Toronto, Canada, just before the world found out about their romance. The couple was also joined by Princess Eugenie and her husband. She said of that time, saying, “The four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes for a fun night out on the town, before everyone knew we were a couple.”
Bench
The Duchess also talked about her book, Bench, she said that her original idea was to write it as a poem and give it to her husband on Father’s Day. The couple welcomed their first child Archie in 2019. “It’s about my observation of him and him being a father, it’s the most beautiful thing to watch,” she said, adding that as she shared it with friends, she said it resonated with them, because it was “inclusive”. And that’s when she decided to turn it into a children’s book.
