Mercedes-Benz Australia remembering 2855 examples its C-Class sedan because water can enter the trunk and cause a short circuit.
This recall affects the current generation C-Class production models from 2021 to 2022.
“It is possible that when the trunk lid is opened, water may enter after heavy rain or the use of a high-pressure cleaner,” the company said in the recall notice.
“Therefore, moisture can enter and can cause a short circuit. In addition, the risk of vehicle fire cannot be excluded”.
