Migrant worker shot dead in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar:
A migrant worker from Bihar has been shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Bandipore of Kashmir, police said today.
The attack took place around midnight at Soadnara Sumbal in Bandipore.
After being shot, Mohd Amrez was taken to hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
“During the night of intervention, terrorists shot and wounded a migrant worker Mohd Amrez, r/o Madhepura, Besarh, Bihar at Soadnara Sumbal, Bandipora. He was transported to hospital for treatment when he can’t stand it,” the Kashmir Region police tweeted.

This comes a day after four soldiers were killed in battle and one wounded in an attack on an army barracks in Kashmir’s Jammu and Rajouri.
The military said: “Subedar Rajendra Prasad, Rifleman Manoj Kumar, Rifleman Lakshmanan D and Rifleman Nishant Malik, made supreme sacrifices while neutralizing 2 terrorists. in a release yesterday.
