This video really focuses on the large areas found in Valisthea, as we see Clive looking over the canyon with its huge waterfall, riding a Chocobo through the desert, walking through a small grassy village, Explore the castle in the dark and stormy nights, and much more.
Final Fantasy 16 won’t have an open world, instead of focusing on large, segmented areas. But if there’s any doubt about how expansive the landscape will be, this trailer will likely make those worries go away.
Formerly, Final Fantasy 16 Director Hiroshi Takai explained that the world of Final Fantasy 16 is built from multiple maps, with four large-scale areas “about two kilometers by two kilometers.”
The player will open the world map to instantly move to these areas across the panorama of Valistea, and after completing the main objective, the player will return to the central area called the Hideaway. And it looks like there’s a lot to explore all over the place 35 hour campaign of the game.
Final Fantasy 16 launches on PlayStation 5 on June 22. For more, check out ours Final Fantasy 16 . Previewwhere we said, “if the story, exploration, and characters match what I’ve seen of the battle so far, then Final Fantasy 16 will be a JRPG to be excited about.”
