Ninety-one participated for the Derby
Ninety-one entries have been made for the G1 Cazoo Derby, which will take place for the 243rd at Epsom Downs on June 4.
This year’s Derby will include a Platinum Jubilee celebration for Her Majesty the Queen, and the Derby features three entries from her stable, topped by her purebred G3 winner Solario S. Approaching the Moon (GB) (Sea The Stars {Ire}), coached by John and Thady Gosden. 2 year old champion Native Trails (GB) (Oasis dream {GB}) nominated, as well as the top 2 year olds of 2021 like El Bodegon (Ire) (The Zodiac {GB}), Luxembourg (Ire) (Camelot {GB}) and Point Lonsdale (Ire) (Australia {GB}). Coach Kenny McPeek has been nominated Tiz The Bomb (Hit It A Bomb), who won last year’s GII Bourbon S. on the pitch at Keeneland and finished second behind Modern Games (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) in the GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf.
