North Macedonia’s military receives initial batch of new JLTV vehicles
The first six of 33 Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs) North Macedonia purchased from Oshkosh Defense are en route from the port of Thessaloniki, Greece.
The Minister of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia, Slavjanka Petrovska said last week that the first shipment of six JLTV light armored vehicles arrived at the port of Thessaloniki, Greece with 180 Textron M1117 Armored vehicles were aided by the United States to Greece.
“This handover represents a serious step forward in the process of modernizing and equipping the Army to NATO standards,” Petrovska said.

JLTV is designed to provide Soldiers and Marines with a high level of mobility, transport, and reliability while providing warriors with the level of protection that a vehicle is protected by. Mine Anti-Ambush (MRAP) will bring them.

Currently, the JLTV Series is offered to the US Army and Marine Corps in various variants with a variety of mission pack configurations, all of which offer protected, networked mobility. , balancing payload, performance and protection across the entire spectrum of military operations.
To date, Oshkosh has received orders or commitments from NATO, Allied and Alliance partners including the United Kingdom, Belgium, Montenegro, Slovenia, Lithuania, Brazil, Romania and North Macedonia.
