Not This Time Colts 1-2 in Eventful Fountain of Youth
Tami Bobo’s SIMPLE (c, 3, Not this time–Simply Confection, by Candy Ride {Arg}) gave his male a one-of-a-kind finish at the GII Fasig-Tipton Fountain of Youth S. on Saturday, which was broken when two horses plunged from heel-to-toe in the first leg. GIII runner-up Holy Bull S. ended up crossing the three-length boundary for a quick finish on Time, while big ranger O (Carpe Diem) Captain O (Carpe Diem) excellently completed three laps. . Early reports suggest that both horses went down – Bill Mott interned High Oak (Gormley) and Galt (Medaglia d’Oro), and their riders, got out of the incident relatively peacefully.
