Police have arrested a man in Toronto following a series of jewelry store robberies.
Toronto police said they were called to the area Avenue of Progress and Triton Street for reports, three men entered a jewelry store wearing masks and construction costumes on June 8.
Police allege a man pointed a gun at an employee, ordering them to enter the back room. The men then opened the display case and took the amount of jewelry, police said.

Then, on June 22, police responded to another robbery call, this time in the area of East Steeles Avenue and Kennedy Street in the York Region.
Employees said five men entered a jewelry store wearing masks. They are said to have used hammers, mallets and crowbars to smash the display case and take “a large amount” of jewelry.
They fled the store and went in cars on vacation, police said.
Officers from Toronto police and York area police coordinated the investigation and on September 15, police arrested a man and executed two search warrants.
During the search, a 9mm Glock gun was loaded and a quantity of Fentanyl was found, police said.
Stephan Salmon, 24, from Toronto was arrested. He faces multiple charges, including robbery with an assault weapon and two counts of forced confinement.
Police said four suspects are still being sought.
