Prince George & Princess Charlotte Enjoy Platinum Anniversary Performance


The royals are ready to explode!

Kate Middleton and Prince William bring their older children Prince George8 and Princess Charlotte7, to the BBC’s star-studded concert in front of Buckingham Palace to celebrate Queen Elizabeth IIPlatinum Holy Year.

The children, the youngest of the three Dukes and Duchesses, were all smiles as they and some 20,000 other attendees enjoyed the music of Adam Lambert and Queen, Rod Stewart and Diana Rossas well as performances from Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lin Manuel Mirandaand the London members of Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, Lion King, Six and Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat– the latter features one of the show’s most famous former hosts, Jason Donovan.

George and Charlotte and their parents waved small UK flags during the performance, officially called the Platinum Party at the Palace. They were excited when Lambert and Queen performed “We Are the Champions.” Along with Kate and William, the kids sang along as Stewart performed a cover of Neil Diamond“Sweet Caroline.” The Duchess and her daughter were also spotted signing to Ross and she performed “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”
