The first 2022 PS5 recovery is here. Today at 12 noon, Rs. 49,990 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray-equipped variants of Sony’s elusive next-generation PlayStation 5 console are up for pre-order in India. This is only the 12th time PS5 has been available in India, since its launch last February. If you’re trying to buy a PS5 online, you can do it on Amazon, Croma, Flipkart, GameLoot, Games The Shop, Reliance Digital, Sony Center, and Vijay Sales. Of course, whether you’ll actually land is the bigger question, as Sony India is struggling to secure enough PS5 stock for India, month after month. Industry insider Rishi Alwani, formerly of Gadgets 360, has noted that the January 18 PS5 rollback will be more limited than usual. That doesn’t bode well for those looking to buy a PS5 these days.
Unfortunately, that’s not the only problem with buying one PlayStation 5 in India. Each time, some online retailers have shown themselves unable to handle the load. Croma and The Shop Game are common offenders – even Amazon crashed once or twice. In addition, Croma, Flipkart and Reliance Digital also known for canceling PlayStation 5 pre-orders due to their own technical challenges. And while delivery restrictions have been eased, Sony Center website ShopAtSC continues with its pivot table: “We plan to ship your allocated inventory around February 8, 2022 onwards – however, please expect delays in our delivery service. We may be impacted due to lockdown/curfew regulations in your locations.”
While the rest of the official PS5 online retailers – Amazon, Croma, Flipkart, GameLoot, The Shop Game, Reliance Digital and Sales Vijay – have not given us a delivery date yet, expect them to match Sony Center estimates. In fact, it may even be earlier than February 8. For the PlayStation 5 additions in June, July, August and October, some customers have reported on groups and forums. that their PS5 pre-order was shipped before the announced delivery date.

Sony retail stores in India Sony Center has their own website where you can purchase PlayStation 5. ShopAtSC offers free home delivery from the nearest Sony Center, but you can also choose to pick up at your nearest store from February 8 onwards.
You will need an account to purchase PS5 from ShopAtSC. Create one in advance to speed up checkout. If you’ve previously purchased a PS5, you won’t be able to buy another from the same account, ShopAtSC said. The site has a notify me button in case you want to set that up.
Shopping at SC offers low-cost EMI on some credit cards and easy EMI options on most debit and credit cards.

Mumbai-headquartered Vijay Sales is also offering the PS5 on its website – its stores have opened across India as well. It will also offer free home delivery on every purchase.
You don’t need an account to buy a PS5 from Vijay Sales, but you will need to provide your mobile number and email address as a guest.
Vijay Sales offers 10 percent cashback up to Rs. 3,000 EMI transactions with AU Small Bank credit card, 10% cashback up to Rs. 2,000 on AU Small Bank debit and credit cards, and 5% cashback up to Rs. 2,000 EMI transactions with a Bank of Baroda credit card.

Walmart-owned Flipkart has also re-stocked the PlayStation 5 for pre-orders in India. It will also offer free home delivery across India.
